Aaron trained in Edinburgh before moving to London where he completed a post graduate in dance and choreography at LABAN. Shortly after, he moved to Japan where he joined the theatre company Ishinha as its first non-Japanese company member. Aaron's theatre practice has developed from his work with Ishinha, his love of classics and his curiosity in combining text and movement in performance. He has worked across the UK in a variety of theatre forms from devised work, adaptations, classics, new writing and musicals.
Since returning to the UK his directing work includes The Assassination of Paris Hilton at the Assembly Rooms (Edinburgh Fringe 2009) and three shows at the Blue Elephant: The Lady of Shalott (2007), Hippolytus (2008) and Drive-Thru Nativity (2009).
Aaron has recently directed the World Premiere of The Cave by Mervyn Peake
